Michael Clinton
Managing Partner
As Founder and Managing Partner of Gauntlet Pi, he oversees all acquisitions, developments and financing requests. He has created a reputation for structuring some of the most complicated and creative transactions in the United State, having structured more than $1.3B in capitalizations. He has led the firm through the development and disposition of some 300+ units and grown the current portfolio to over 400 MF and hospitality units nationwide.
Michael, now a seasoned investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, has turned his sights on market and affordable housing projects where he can have impact on diverse and underserved communities. He recently made history through the historic purchase of the “The Guest House” in Natchez, MS, a historic antebellum hotel and restaurant, and has been featured in a number of online publications. He is licensed CA real estate broker and sits on the board for the YMCA at Weingart, Los Angeles, CA. He is on the board for the University of West Los Angeles, School of Graduate Studies as well as on the board for the HNOJ School located in Los Angeles, CA. Michael attended Duke University for undergrad and received his MBA at Vanderbilt University. He is married to Tiffany Clinton and they have two children, residing in Los Angeles, CA.
